My favorite tools for planning a freedom-filled life

By now, you guys know that my morning routine keeps me grounded, positive, and productive, but what you may not know is that one of the essential parts of this routine is planning for the day ahead.

I’m a strong believer that creating a freedom-filled life doesn’t happen overnight, but rather through small, consistent efforts in your everyday life. But it’s not always easy to find the tools that will help you work on your mindset and strategy so that you can experience that freedom in your day-to-day.

Which is why today, I’m letting you in on a few of my favorite tools for planning and living out a freedom-filled life. Because however skeptical you may be at this moment, I believe the lifestyle you’ve been craving is absolutely within your reach. You just need to design it that way.

Here are a few tools to help you do just that:

Powersheets Intentional Goal Planner

If you’re looking to prioritize and set intentional goals that keep you moving forward…
I wasn’t sure the exact role that Powersheets would play in my life, but after countless friends raved about this goal-setting planner, I decided to see what all of the fuss was about. I’m so glad I did. I love the intentional approach of this planner, diving deep into the reasons behind your goals before focusing your priorities and creating your “tending list” each month. Like all goal planners, it only works if you do the work, but the easy-to-navigate prompts and beautiful layout leave you wanting to keep with it day after day.

The Five Minute Journal

If you’re looking to cultivate gratitude, intention, and positivity…
The name speaks for itself. If you’re looking for a simple format to cultivate more abundance and joy in your daily life, this journal was made for you. I love the consistent formatting and how it builds confidence in my clients that they can, in fact, be consistent about habits in their daily life.

Bullet Journal

If you’re looking to get all those tasks out of your head and onto paper…
I live by my bullet journal and keep it by my desk at all times. Scattered and overwhelmed feelings often stem from having too many thoughts swimming around in your head. By simply getting them on to paper, you’ll free up the mental space to focus on what needs your attention in that moment, without worrying that you’re forgetting something. I also love that this journal builds the habit of prioritizing what’s important by crossing out what's no longer relevant. Even if you don’t have the branded bullet journal (I use this Moleskine instead, so I don’t have to write in the dates myself), I encourage you to watch the video and explore how this kind of task-management system could work in your life.

SELF Journal

If you’re looking for a combination between a gratitude journal and a daily planner…
This planner is perfect for you if you prefer a paper planner rather than a digital one. Not only that, but it has an added layer of personal development to it as well. There’s space to write in a goal, 3 important tasks for the day, lessons learned, daily wins, and things you’re grateful for. It’s a nice mix of the above options for those of you looking for something more encompassing.

Commit30

If you’re looking to focus your efforts on one big goal per month…
This planner encourages you to commit to one goal during a 30-day period. There are spaces to write action steps, efforts, next steps, and a reward. Each day you’ve worked toward that goal, you fill in another circle, which builds confidence through consistency. The planner portion includes a simple daily planner with space for “work to do” and “life to do” lists. I like that this planner keeps it simple by really focusing on one goal because I’m a strong believer that focus leads to big results both in work and in life.

Now I’d love to turn things over to you — do you have a favorite tool that helps you to organize your schedule, focus your priorities, and create a freedom-filled life? Let me know in the comments below. I’d love to hear what’s working for you!
