I’m about to make your mindset practice simpler than ever before (with more results too!)
Ladies, I don’t think I’ve ever created ANYTHING that I’m more excited to share with you.
And I’ve created some pretty awesome stuff. 😉
I just KNOW deep in the depths of my soul that so many of you are going to experience massive life and business transformations through this super simple practice.
Yes, I said SIMPLE.
Because when things are simple we feel empowered and motivated to stick with them.
And sticking with a mindset practice consistently is exactly how you start to see BIG results.
Over the years, I’ve tried MANY mindset exercises depending on where I was in my life and business at the time.
And yet, sometimes when I went all-in on one, I would actually miss some of the others.
As much as I tried to rotate those exercises, there’s something really beautiful about not having to think about it too much—just KNOWING that you’re going to sit down and do your mindset work for the day without any extra required thought or effort around what that would look like.
I mean… doesn’t that sound lovely!?
I created this Simplified Mindset Practice because it was something that I NEEDED. I was doing these mindset practices regularly to create more of the results I wanted (long before it was a pretty worksheet!) and now I’ve condensed it into a ONE-PAGE powerhouse that I want to share with you.
I’m talking about results like…
✨Experiencing more fun and ease in my daily life
✨Converting sales calls with more ease than ever before
✨Having my best EVER months in revenue (during a global pandemic, might I add!)
✨Working less and enjoying life MORE (all while actually making more too!)
The best part is, this isn’t something that is going to take a massive amount of time either.
It’s a simple practice (I mean we’re talking ONE PAGE here!) that if you stick with, will yield incredible results in about 10-15 minutes per day. That’s IT.
Plus, I’m giving you my exact example of how to use this worksheet so you know exactly how to apply it to your life and business for big results!
Ummm… 10-15 minutes to reach that next level income goal in your business, all while working less and enjoying life more??? HELL YES.
That’s why today, I’m sharing the behind-the-scenes scoop on the most impactful mindset exercises you can do TODAY to move through the mindset challenges that are holding. You’ll start seeing more results, with more ease than ever before.
Focusing on the NEXT goal instead of the big goal
Your bigger vision might actually be keeping you stuck in your biz…
Now, don’t get me wrong. I love a bigger vision more than I love my morning coffee (which is A LOT, might I add ☕️). I’m all about adding beautiful images to my vision board that inspire me day in and day out.
But sometimes we get SO caught up in the bigger picture that we feel paralyzed by it.
When it feels so far away, it’s hard to know exactly HOW you’re actually going to get there, so we stay stuck and take sporadic action (or worse, no action at all!).
But here’s the thing, I fundamentally believe that “THE HOW” isn’t up to us.
I mean, really think about it. Think back to the last time that you achieved a longtime goal. I would be willing to bet that circumstances lined up juuuuuust so to make it happen.
Meaning, you took aligned, consistent action toward what you wanted and the Universe met you halfway. But EXACTLY how it unfolded would have been unknowable at the start.
That’s why instead of focusing on the BIG goal, I’d love for you to focus on the NEXT goal.
Because the NEXT goal is what makes it easier to take consistent action toward what you want rather than spinning in possibilities, self-doubt, and inaction.
I had a Future You client recently whose goal was to hit $20k income months—which is an amazing goal!
But the way to reach $20k is to master the art of signing one client, then to rinse and repeat to reach that income goal.
There’s no way around it. You have to sign one before you can sign many.
The same way you have to lose one pound before you can lose twenty pounds.
Or you have to run one mile before you complete a marathon.
So rather than feeling like you have to book out your client roster TODAY, I encourage you to think about what the next goal would be to reach that bigger vision you have for yourself and your business.
Start with one lead, one sales call, one client, and so on, because it’s going to relieve some of the pressure you’re putting on yourself and move you into action in a way that feeling like you have to sign 10 by tomorrow just won’t.
Focus on the actions you can take today
I say it all the freaking time because it’s just SO TRUE. I am ALL about the mindset you need to take more of the right actions in your business.
Why?
Because the action is where it’s at.
Just ideas, with no action, yields very little (if any) results.
Taking action is what takes it from just an idea in your head to a full-blown dream that you achieved.
Taking action is what made it possible to land my first speaking gig.
Taking action is what made it possible for me to show up week after week in my marketing, even before I was getting any traction or clients from it.
Taking action is what took me from someone who used to be awkward, uncomfortable, and breaking out in hives on sales calls to someone who thinks they’re genuinely FUN now.
Taking action is what took me from starting this business with zero clients to having more clients than ever before and my best month in revenue (for the third month in a row 🍾🍾🍾) during a global pandemic.
Not only that, but I believe the action is how you show the Universe that you’re serious about reaching your goal so it can meet you halfway with the people, opportunities, and what feels like straight-up magic that lines up just right.
So when it comes to achieving more of the goals you have in your business, I challenge you to list three actions you can take today that are going to bring you closer to that goal, and then actually TAKE them.
You know what I mean… the follow-up email you’ve been meaning to send, the offer you’ve been hesitating to put out there, the change to the prices on your website…
Write them down… and go do it! I’ll wait here.
Name the fears that are holding you back
I had SO MANY fears when I first pivoted to coaching.
I really did want my first PAID coaching client—I mean, after all, it had been 5 months of showing up consistently in my marketing with zero, zilch, nada to show for it.
I was committed to staying the course, to taking the actions, to doing the things…
I distinctly remember a conversation with my coach about how “I didn’t get why it wasn’t working. I was going through all the motions.”
Ladies, the thing about going through the motions is that our energy plays a bigger role than we often like to admit.
If I’m being really honest, the idea of actually GETTING a client freaked me the eff out.
What if they didn’t like working with me?
What if they asked for a refund?
What if they went and told everyone else they knew that they hated me?
What if they didn’t get results?
What if, what if, what if.
Each “what if” was like a tiny brick of fear I continued to stack until I had built a wall between me and my goal.
But the best part of naming your fears (and in that, I highly suggest writing them down daily as part of your Simplified Mindset Practice) is that they begin to lose their charge.
They begin to feel less important. Like less of a barrier between you and the action you’re trying to take.
Now, if you’re sitting here thinking, “I’m not afraid of my goal. I’m not afraid of taking action. I don’t know what she means,” then I highly recommend you take another look.
Fear and self-doubt are some of the BIGGEST and most common barriers I see hold women back from achieving the goals that are on their hearts.
And I really do believe that if it’s on your heart, it’s there for a reason, so it’s time to lessen that fear so you can take aligned action to get more of the results you want in life and biz!
The bottom line:
It’s my goal for you to have a practice you can rely on day after day to boost your mindset so you can take more of the right actions in your business to see BIG results.
I created this Simplified Mindset Practice because it was something I needed in MY business to take the thought work out of exactly what that would look like each day.
I wanted to know I had a structure in place to support me in working toward my goals and actually achieving them, and I want that very same thing for you too.
Now don’t get me wrong, SIMPLE doesn’t mean lackluster. This one-pager is value-packed with the exercises that will make the biggest difference in your business.
But this isn’t something that you’ll do once and put to the side either. This is something that you’ll do again and again to build momentum and keep taking the kind of action that leads to having quite a lot to celebrate in life and business!
