What REALLY happened when three aligned, high-ticket clients dropped into my world

The last three clients I booked were amazing, aligned, high-ticket clients who dropped into my world.

AND I used to effing hate when people would say sh*t like that. šŸ‘†šŸ»

But I think itā€™s important to break this down and talk about WHY because conversations like these are a big part of what makes Sincere Sales possible in my business.

First, I want you to know that I had zero idea that these people were interested in what I had to offer prior to them reaching out with a question or booking a call.

Earlier this year I had a client even tell me on a clarity call that she ā€œdidnā€™t even remember my nameā€¦ only what I looked likeā€ and that she just felt this deep knowing that she had to work with me.

It later also came to light that she had watched my Morning Mindset for More Sales trainings on Instagram (in my highlights) and remembered me from there.

Donā€™t get me wrong, it sounds sexy. It is sexy. Trust me, Iā€™m living it. Maybe you even see Future You getting results like these too?

ANDDDDD thereā€™s more to it than that. Thereā€™s the part that so often gets skimmed over when hearing stories like these.

So today, Iā€™m sharing what went into making these aligned, high-ticket clients that dropped into my world a reality.

And no, it isnā€™t a complicated funnel, a new and improved freebie, or a killer sales script (and is probably a lot simpler than you think)!


Showing up to sell consistently (very different than constantly BTW)

When you run an online business, your content is how you show youā€™re OPEN for business. Itā€™s how people find you. Itā€™s how people know how you think and what you believe (yes, even if youā€™re not a coach, I still see you as a thought leader in your space). Your content is how you share what you have to offer and why youā€™re the best person to offer it.

I mean take a second and really think about the mentors and leaders that you admire. Even if what initially comes to mind is that you love their energy, the only way for you to experience that energy (apart from paying them, of course) isā€¦ their content.

But it isnā€™t just about posting content either. Itā€™s about selling IN that content so people understand why youā€™re the exact perfect solution to the problem that theyā€™re currently facing. One of my foundational beliefs when it comes to sales is that people donā€™t know if you donā€™t tell them. So donā€™t just share the name of your program or offer and call it a day ā€“ tell them why they want it, too.

Thereā€™s a reason youā€™ve seen me around for the past five years. Itā€™s because Iā€™ve shown up to sell consistently since the early days (ok, I admit it was shaky in the beginningā€¦ but you get me šŸ’šŸ¼ā€ā™€ļø) and itā€™s what has helped me build this business from zero to six-figures working roughly 25 hours per week and creating magical results like dream clients dropping into my world.


Taking uncomfortable action

I deeply believe that itā€™s the Universeā€™s only goal to help us return to our most whole, aligned, worthy, authentic selves. This is a belief Iā€™ve borrowed from the teachings of Lacy Phillips at To Be Magnetic and the more Iā€™ve leaned into it, the more Iā€™ve seen this reflected back to me time and time again.

ā€œSo what does that have to do with making more sales?ā€ you may be thinking. And Iā€™m here to tell youā€¦ literally everything. In that process of returning to what I refer to as our Core Magnetism (who we are at the core before life, society, and societal programming told us otherwise) weā€™re often called to work through fear and take uncomfortable action to bring us closer to the highest version of ourselves.

Quick aside: even if you donā€™t believe in the Universe or that feels a little out there to youā€¦ Iā€™ve had my fair share of religious upbringing (I was raised Lutheran, I went to an all-girls Catholic high school, and my husband is Jewish), and I will say that a lot of this tracks with teachings that you were created in Godā€™s image. So even if you donā€™t believe in THIS, you likely believe in something and itā€™s valuable to find what that something is. But I digressā€¦

Those three clients that dropped into my world all came as the result of working through some really freaking uncomfortable things. It meant being transparent when a spot opened up because of a canceled contract. It meant working through fear to pitch myself for a speaking opportunity. It meant having a transparent conversation with someone close to me and trusting that I was doing right by both of us.

AND all three of those dream clients that booked are directly correlated with those uncomfortable actions. Because when you walk through that fear and take aligned action itā€™s hard not to see bigger results like more leads, clients, and money in the bank because of it (even if sometimes it doesnā€™t happen quite as quickly as youā€™d like).


Being available to have a conversation

I think so often we hear results like clients dropping into our world and we forget that it doesnā€™t mean that they literally drop from the sky. It isnā€™t some magical hocus-pocus that you donā€™t have. If you really think about it, it isnā€™t a secret because you can literally SEE every part of someoneā€™s sales process if you took the steps to hire them.

And most of the time it boils down to thisā€¦

Sales is just a conversation with an invitation attached. But it means being willing to have that conversation. Aka youā€™re going to have to talk to people. Many of us are selling high-touch, personal services at premium price points. So it only makes sense that sales may require you to step up in that same energy of supporting in a high-touch premium way. Itā€™s a two-way street.

However, often our own fears, doubts, and insecurities can stand in the way of doing that. It feels uncomfortable to offer a sales call when they didnā€™t explicitly say they were interested yet. Or it feels too nosey to ask a question that would help you direct them toward the offer that would best suit them. And lemme tell youā€¦ that is ALL mindset.

The more open and willing you are to talk to people withOUT making it mean something about you, the more sales youā€™ll make. Simple as that (even if our brains love to overcomplicate it). Effective communication is a seriously underrated sales skill and one of the only ways to get better at it is to put in the reps and practice.

Each aligned, high-end client that dropped into my world chose to talk to me first or that sale never would have happened. And THAT is the beauty of being open and available to have a conversation first.


The bottom line:

YES, three amazing, aligned, high-ticket clients dropped into my world and I was THRILLED. That is the magical marketing result that sounds so, so good and is most likely what Iā€™ll put on the first slide of the carousel I make for Instagram. It IS the sexy specific result.

But I think that the part thatā€™s so often skimmed over is that it wasnā€™t without effort. I was still putting out consistent content and showing up to sell day after day. I was still having conversations and inviting potential clients to take that next step with me. I was still sharing about my amazing offers to join me for a Consistent Clients intensive and Future You coaching.
